solo would be cry of fear (its free)
a fresh look at scp containment breach from the multiplayer client on steam
thats all i can think of right now but i will list more when i remember
3 is still a decent shooter horror game
More horror shooters are F.E.A.R, Metro, S.T.A.L.K.E.R
The Forest and its sequel
Alien Isolation (very similar to outlast)
Hate saying it but Slenderman isnt half bad
Havent played it yet so I don't know how it would be but Dagon. Its a game version of a story by HP Lovecraft who is a big name in psychological horror
Subnautica and the Bioshock games
Dooms fun idk about scary its got that resident evil type of scarey going for it.
FNAF never played it i assume its for little kids.
Alien isolation i played it once it was pretty good but too damn long.
Slenderman played it once unimpressed.
Never heard of dagon now i look up.
Subnautica just reminded me of ark and made me want to play ark.
I thought bioshock 1 was trash and never touched the others.
I have the forest i havent given it enough of a chance i really want to play sons of the forest. Its hard for me to get into big ass open world survival games. I put alot of time into ARK and they all just feel like ark to me now, but without dinosaurs.

However, there's a lot of roaming about, exploration and inventory management, but it's a lovely horrorgame void of jumpscares and great atmosphere and mystique. Quality stuff.

It's not in the same 1st person perspective as Outlast, but it's a phenomenal game nonetheless.
