Or better, ive played alot I like horror i always seek out new horror.

Amnesia played 3 of them they all suck. Encounter 1 enemy that can easily be outrun.
Soma sucked same thing
Penumbra sucked boring AF encountered no enemies.
Silent hill Kinda scarey but mostly boring roaming around thinking WTF do i do.
Resident evil More action that horror, most horror focused is village and still more action.
SCP containment breach Pretty damn scary.
Agony Ok i guess kind of boring roaming around watching demon patterns.
Doorways series. Ok more of an atmosphere walking simulator.
Evil within Pretty good got some scary monsters and good environments.
The suffering pretty good same deal as evil within

Give me more.

Yeah kinda.

7 started out really scarey but as soon as i got that smg and it turned way action i stopped liking it.
8 was good. I thought they did the setting well and i enjoyed upgrading my equipment could of been more horror focused.

4 remake was good too, had a few good horror moments sneaking around and whatnot. But 4 is really just a survival game at heart remake included your rationing off what ammo/nades/knives you have and planning ahead for your next battle.

-Little nightmares is pretty good, 2 is nice too has some great sections but some of the filler bits last too long imo.
-Paranoia place is a nice 2 player coop budget horror game.
-I know you said you disliked amnesia but try the demo for amnesia the bunker (upcoming title) i heard it's great.

Other than that if you really want to scratch the itch it might be time to invest in a VR headset.
I can easily watch horror movies, horror games are tense but very doable.
Horror in VR is on another level though, i can't quite describe how much more immersive it is but you should try it.

Not a fan of amnesia , but the bunker looks lit. Dark wood is great if you like crafting and survival. Alien isolation is great and similar to outlast.

Im very prone to vertigo and bad migraines. Sometimes if im playing a FPS and im like falling and looking straight down i get a little dizzy so idk if i can do VR. NGL if outlast came out on VR i would try it lol.

the new amnesia coming out today is very different than all the previous ones (ie. you get a gun, crafting, open-ish enviroment, stalking monster) theres also a free demo of the first area already out if you want to give it a shot too, as someone who's never finished a game by frictional games out of the tedium of all the monster encounters i can say with certainty that I will be playing and finishing this one
