Give me a horror game as good as Outlast.
Or better, ive played alot I like horror i always seek out new horror.

Amnesia played 3 of them they all suck. Encounter 1 enemy that can easily be outrun.
Soma sucked same thing
Penumbra sucked boring AF encountered no enemies.
Silent hill Kinda scarey but mostly boring roaming around thinking WTF do i do.
Resident evil More action that horror, most horror focused is village and still more action.
SCP containment breach Pretty damn scary.
Agony Ok i guess kind of boring roaming around watching demon patterns.
Doorways series. Ok more of an atmosphere walking simulator.
Evil within Pretty good got some scary monsters and good environments.
The suffering pretty good same deal as evil within

Give me more.

Yeah cry of fear was good for an indie game. I never finished it because the chapters just got so LONG. even using a walkthrough step by step it was like good god.

cry of fear is also one of the few horror games that had weapons but still retained its horror feel instead of becoming a doom clone

though speaking of doom
3 is still a decent shooter horror game
The evil within 1

FNAF (and many fan games on gamejolt)
More horror shooters are F.E.A.R, Metro, S.T.A.L.K.E.R
The Forest and its sequel
Alien Isolation (very similar to outlast)
Hate saying it but Slenderman isnt half bad
Havent played it yet so I don't know how it would be but Dagon. Its a game version of a story by HP Lovecraft who is a big name in psychological horror

Dooms fun idk about scary its got that resident evil type of scarey going for it.
FNAF never played it i assume its for little kids.
Alien isolation i played it once it was pretty good but too damn long.
Slenderman played it once unimpressed.
Never heard of dagon now i look up.
Subnautica just reminded me of ark and made me want to play ark.
I thought bioshock 1 was trash and never touched the others.
I have the forest i havent given it enough of a chance i really want to play sons of the forest. Its hard for me to get into big ass open world survival games. I put alot of time into ARK and they all just feel like ark to me now, but without dinosaurs.

I played visage i wasnt impressed, took too long for something to happen. I wound up watching the rest of the game on a no commentary gameplay video.

I liked this game a lot but it’s horror aspect isn’t very high

I'd recommend Darkwood, one of my favorites. Lovely horror game with a top-down perspective, quite a passion-project too with it's artstyle and animation.

However, there's a lot of roaming about, exploration and inventory management, but it's a lovely horrorgame void of jumpscares and great atmosphere and mystique. Quality stuff.

Edit: https://store.steampowered.com/app/274520/Darkwood/

It's not in the same 1st person perspective as Outlast, but it's a phenomenal game nonetheless.
