You can also disarm the trap faster if you open the door while crouched.
Door traps are f-ing useless when you can crouch and open the doors to bypass traps easily. You can also rush to the next objectives majority of the time with no concern of enemy npcs. Ai is pretty dumb as fk in this game once you learn the game mechanics.
The only trial that remains difficult no matter what is the Program X trial that disables your use of the rig.
The same excuse "game journalist" like to use a lot....LOL
And Deadly Prime Asset, meaning 1 hit from the main enemy? Too bad, you're done. Granted most of my deaths from this modifier is from me running into a room while being chased and realizing "welp, this is a dead end".
Here's a few tips though.
1. If you're being chased and an enemy is infront of you that you need to get past, try and go to the side of them and then slide, you'll be low enough that they miss their swing.
2. If you are at a dead end, there's usually a box or something you can vault over, try and time your vault when they start walking around it so that when you land on the ground they are behind you. You should have enough distance to avoid a hit.
3. If you decide to hide, make sure you stop running the second you break line of sight, using Q and E to look behind you (left or right), then hide. You should know you're 100% safe if they check a hiding spot you're not in or they stop where you broke line of sight.
4. Weirdly enough I don't see many people do this but you can lean with Q and E but if you HOLD Q and E at the same time while crouched you can peak up.
It's ok to admit you are bad at the game.
If the game's replay-value gets boring quickly, that needs change, it is in early access after all so now is the time where devs should listen to people's thoughts, watering down peoples opinion to "git gud" and "ur bad" is just childish.
He doesn't even have the useful amps, rx passives, and even his main rig upgraded fully yet....
Honestly, there is nothing else for us to say to you. You are bad.
Game gets easier with experience, you just need to give it time. Modifier missions and Program X are supposed to be hard, not easy.
If you just come in here saying this and that is unfun because it's hard, it is a skill issue, there really is nothing else to be said. Are some modifiers cancer? Yes. Are they impossible to beat? Hell no.
While yeah I agree that it being hard is a skill issue, that's for sure, it's still valid if people don't find it fun.
Also not to switch topic but Program X annoys me a lil bit, after the first time it's not even worth it, it's just a repeat of the same trials/challenges with the same modifiers for 5 outfits that honestly besides 1, look like trash at 10k a pop. And, worst part, you have to go through the entire reborn process, like damn let me skip it I've already seen the entire thing.
