Should I play Outlast 1 and 2 before this?
Not from a story perspective, but a "you can't go home again" perspective... some sequels are just so good that going back to play a previous title is a bad experience. Wondering if Outlast is one of those series.

No, if you are not so interested in ENT games, then it is quite interesting and fun even without his knowledge. This is generally a prequel by and large. So the answer is no, it shouldn't. But it is recommended, these are entertaining games.

By the way, Outlast II surpasses this part in mechanics, so think for yourself)
