This game isn't Dead by Daylight

Just been scrolling through the discussions and I'm really not understanding the comparison between Dead by Daylight and Outlast Trials. As someone who has almost 2500 in Dead by Daylight and now 30 hours in Outlast Trials, the two games are not similar. They both sit in the horror genre sure, but they're very different games play wise. Dead by Daylight is certainly not as stealth, hyper objective based with multiple enemies as Outlast Trials is.
Outlast Trials put simply is Outlast but co-op; that's coming from someone who played the first game and watched the entire series multiple times. Dead by Daylight doesn't come close to hitting the same vibe at all.

People are also ♥♥♥♥ talking Dead by Daylight saying that Outlast Trials knocks it out of the park and calling Dead by Daylight a ♥♥♥♥ game, or a boring game. Dead by Daylight just like any game if you play it enough has the ability to burn you out; Outlast Trials is a fresh new game, so of course it's going to feel a lot more fun right now. The two games can co-exist and you can enjoy both or hate one but love the other; it doesn't have to be a competition.

Just wait until you see how apperantly dbd was the first asym game and every other asym game that came out even before dbd is a rip off.

I've just never understood why games need to constantly compared to one another. We live in a very media saturated world, there are going to overlaps when it comes to content; and those overlaps don't automatically mean copying or replicating on either side. It's really ridiculous that the two games cannot just co-exist.

As I said as well, the two games are not even similar aside from sitting in the horror genre.

It’s weird that this game and DBD are even compared. They’re nothing alike. I guess the Police map does have generators.

Basically naive DBD fans have just looked at this game and thought ok 4 players yes, enemies that chase you? also yes and it's horror? It's gotta be a DBD clone then!

DBD is the most unbalanced unfun POS ive played in a long time. survivor win so often and easily its unfun. Killer get abused with cheap impossible to counter tactics and get no kills because of cheap exploits for 99% of games.
