Do not like the police station basement (gens & escape)
It feels like there is only one way through the level, the gen is really hard to find despite the provided map, and when you are spotted (you will be because of the narrow halls and abundant choke points) there's really nowhere to run and hide without backtracking through half the map

I have, 3 times in a row. "Unable to mentally understand that you are not the only sentient person in the entire universe" issue

Yeah, kinda a skill issue. I have never had an issue with the basement like you explained. I mean if you are uncoordinated I can see it being hard but it's not that bad. Only time I have trouble there is when the AI camps a gen so long I run outa goggle battery.

Uncoordinated? Lucky RNG then, because for those 3 trials there was only ONE door to move forward, for multiple rooms straight
Sponsche May 20, 2023 @ 6:33pm
sounds like a skill issue

There's a map!?

Well if you think about it, most of the time the gens spawn in the outer rooms of the basement i.e laundry room, first room to left, behind the fence directly in front of the garage door. It's not meant to be easy, the entire point of these "trials" is to test you.

The other maps have more than one single pathway to your objective.

I'm not asking for the game to be "Easy", I want it to be possible. I haven't said anything about the other maps, so this narrative is entirely fabricated by the braindead idiots who come into threads like this to defecate on their keyboards hoping something half-coherent comes out.

It is possible, and once you learn the maps and how the enemies work it gets easy. There are multiple ways to an objective but that just makes it easier as opposed to only one pathway. The basement is probably the easiest spot in police station because 75% of the map is dark so they can't see you and theres lots of spots to loop around or hide behind.

What i hated the most was where you push the traitor. There was one point where the naked guy always was on this one spot from where i couldnt push the guy further because of him. I needed to lure him away and with a bit of luck i continued.

At the very start before you go down the stairs. Its not that useful honestly.

As for OP i don't wanna say skill issue, but a lot of this game is map knowledge. Once you learn the maps and layouts it makes everything a ♥♥♥♥ ton easier. Skill is definitely a factor as well.

I'll take it you mean the mk-challenge.

I found it difficult as well on first try but right now I did the X variation and it was a breeze in like 10 minutes or so, there is a slight involvement in RNG but mainly it's about map knowledge / coordination.

Stick to the dark, open as many doors as you can so you don't run into traps or locked doors and sneak - on harder difficulties it's about sneaking (especially solo)

I like that trial because you CAN lure the enemies away while a teammate pushes, and when they come back for the teammate you can continue pushing while they take bait

theres literally a sign that says theres a generator before you enter those rooms..
