Difficulty modifiers insane?

God, 3 matches where people used modifiers 3 matches that ended in 2 minutes. Enemies spawning in every corner, mines everywhere causing insta psychosis , 2 hit kills, how the hell does anybody even find the objective when the game throws literally every single thing it has at you in the first 3 steps of the match?

From what I've heard, its extremely hard solo. But if you have a friend to play with, it helps a lot, as one can distract while the other does objectives - or just split up and complete objectives at the same time. It still can be challenging, but the more you play it, the more you're use to the mechanics and it gets easier.

As someone who completed all the missions so far on hard with 2 friends, it gets way easier the more you play. Also having all your prescriptions unlocked really up's your chances.

Now I'm not saying that I got an A+ by any means but we did complete every mission, so it is definitely possible.

This crap is making me want to put the game down for a while. I understand project x is the be all end all for this "season". But good god, you shouldn't be punished with an insta-down on a single ♥♥♥♥ up because prime idiot #043 noticed you and decided to tunnel you to the ends of the map only to bonk you into a down. At the very least it should be given a modifier that knocks three pips off that way you still somewhat have a chance to bounce back.

There is hard and there is ridiculous, putting every enemy (including the boss) in the first 2 rooms is a little bit more than hard, specially with mines every 2 steps (tho i guess that has more to do with people activating all the modifiers at once)

like what was said before it gets easier the more u play. I did all the difficulties just fine thanks to the upgrades

Yeah i guess knowing the maps better and having upgrades makes them easier, still feel like they throw waaaaaay too much ♥♥♥♥ at you in the first room.

imo its not hard enough

ok thats a lie - i think its JUST right. when i try to solo some of the program X trials i barely make it out at times. its very challenging but also not unfair.
