How to hide the current item you're holding?

Is there a way/key for hiding or putting away the current item that you are holding in your right hand, like medicine, battery, etc.

There's actually an option in the settings menu for just that. It's not a button you push, but I think it will hide the graphic after a few seconds, until you pick up/swap to a new item.

This trick or glitch implemented during Hotfix Patch (16/6/2023).
Don't know whether it is worked or not after the Update #3 @Halloween (26/10/2023).
