if you are going to play everything the game has to offer right now (3 "main" trials with 5 variations each + some hidden 4th trial im not too sure of what it is), you will probably spend a bare minimum of 15-30 hours playing.
i highly suggest you to play the game in coop though - it's a lot more fun, especially with voice chat. you can play it in singleplayer, and it's still fun, just nowhere near as fun as multiplayer. there is a group finder in the game that lets you match up with a team within seconds, so if you don't have friends to play with it'll be very easy to find a group anyway

2 of them are. it wouldn't surprise me if they get more creative with trials objectives in the future and just wanted to keep it simple at the start to test the waters
