Night Vision Colour change?

I don't see any reason as to why we can't change the colour of the NVG. As far as I'm aware NVG can be Green(IRL military use and in game use), Red(used IRL because they're easier on the eyes) and White. (Maybe more) Why not add this feature?

Agree, the white color of the night vision destroying my eyes, especially when looking at an illuminated area because the intensity is too strong and after half an hour of play I find my eyes are completely fatigued. I don't understand why they don't use a relaxing color like green for example. For this reason I find it really hard to play.
