The argument of waiting for a completed product is perfectly valid when this is being marketed as early access and when content present in the marketing isn’t in the game. That’s not even getting into datamined content.
And as for this game being a “buggy mess,” feel free to think what you think, but I’ve encountered VERY little bugs in the game. This is pretty smooth for an early access game. It’s smoother than a lot of AAA games when they fully release.
If you hate the idea of paying money for something that is going out of its way to admit it isn’t a finished product, something many AAA titles don’t even bother doing despite charging more, then why are you even bothering with this game? Why are coming on here to be downer to people who believe in this game and want to see more of it?
Wasn’t the community manager, but one of the devs stated that they know things have been quiet, but that there is a lot of exciting things in the pipeline.
They elaborated that members of the team were/are taking a summer vacation, hence why there wasn’t anything going on.
I have encountered maybe 2-3 game breaking bugs in over 100 hours. Pretty decent for an early access game imo. Released games I've played have been far worse.
