Not fully released yet. Trials only had a very short closed beta in 2022.

I don’t really care about the award itself, I care mostly about the exposure that games get from these types of events, and as you might imagine, more exposure = more sales. I just think it’s unfair that a game as unpolished as TCP gets to be a nominee in what is the show’s most important category, thus getting more exposure, stealing the spot from other games that deserve it. Although, as the comment above me said, it’s probably just because Trials is still in EA.

Callisto Protocol is extremely garbage and full of bugs

Because this game was released in the middle of the year and is still in early access. If Outlast Trials was released fully back in the first quarter of the year, then it would eligible for horror GOTY imo
