When will text chat be added?

Honestly with the amount of people who don't use mic, and language barrier, maybe typing will help.

Sometimes we talk on mic to see if people understand what we're saying and get completely ignored when giving directions and such.

You are probably ignored not just because they don't use mics but because there is an option to turn off the whole voice chat, so they don't even hear you. The truth is that many don't talk ingame not because of shyness but because they don't want to hear toxic players or hearing others talking breaks their concentration and immersion - so they just turn off the whole voice chat stuff. Pings and command wheel overcomes this and the language barrier too.

But to answer: no info about text chat.

Yeah, I mostly made this post because of new people. We were trying to tell them they were the host and to pick their trial and stuff but no reaction

i disabled my voice chat immediatly, i have dealt with people screaming at me/♥♥♥♥ music in the background/parents being mad at their kids/what have you, way too often to ever bother with voice in game ever again. or i'm just on discord with other people.

this goes for every game, ping works well enough i find.
text chat would be nice tho

Oh, the other day I had to leave a group because the lvl 1 leader wouldn't do anything in the lobby even if we pinged the machine for him. Funny thing is that I had made him leader thinking I would help him in his first trial. I should just have stayed leader and choose the beginner trial.
Usually pinging the machine works though - but I am not really grouped with beginners, having been lvl 40 for a long time.
