Hi, Could someone explain to me why this design is fine with an input of 1 or 2 dirt, but fails with an input of 3 dirt or more? I don't understand... What does "has no input" mean (level 18)

The instructions for the level 18 task (star cores) says that the machine "a) has no input (use feedback collectors to cancel out inputs". I don't understand what this means. How can a machine have no input? Would someone be able to explain this to me? Thanks...
