$19.99 price tag?
No, thanks!
This is another EA wrong decision.
Listen to me, please, EA. This is a typic "Free to Play" game that you could sell skins and season battle pass to make money.
Wake up, please, and change this business model.

Sry for my bad english

They could have a demo for the game

Perfect. Now people can stop complaining about paying for a game that took time and energy to develop. Cheapskates.

While this game does give off F2P vibes I thought it was very fun and feel its worth 20 bucks to play but only that much if they had bump it up to even just 25 I would simply wait for a sell or hope its on the EA pass subscription.

seeing threads like this always makes me laugh because people get so offended when they have to pay for things or if it's over a certain price.

Considering so many AAA titles cost like £50-60 these days and here complaining about how you can't get it for free and will have to pay $20

You do know that F2P games will probably earn more money than paid for games?

This is funny, so ppl spend all that money on a PC just to play F2P games? LOL

Tbh the only reason that is understandable to complain for the price, is only to make the game more accessible, but they (the developers) will see if it s needed.
I played this game on ps4 and the gameplay is a blast, nowhere like rocket arena, we are talking splatoon quality gameplay, immediate and fun but a lot skill based also so the price to me seems reasonable, simply because the game already deserves that price.

if you cant spend 20$ on a game you claim you like, you shouldnt be gaming... Your the same type of people who want a days gone 2 but said the first one wasnt worth the price

Again... has nothing to do with the price itself, the issue is that there is a price at all.

A game like this doesn't work without a playerbase, and if the pricetag is 20 bucks - that playerbase will be tiny. Most people who hasn't tried the game in the beta, won't pay 20 bucks to try it now. That's just how it works.

I would have no problem spending 20+ bucks on this as a free to play title, but that pricetag to initially buy it is a death sentence for the game. It's really that simple. I'm not spending 20 bucks on it only to play with the same 20 people who also did the same, then watch it die off a week later. That's not even worth my time, let alone my money.

Anyone here remember Bleeding Edge? I had to go to the wikipedia for list of MOBA's to find the game because I couldn't remember the name.

Yeah, there's so many examples of this happening that's just blaffing how they think this will play out.

I just don't get how publishers and devs doesn't understand it by now. Everyone thinks they will be the next "Fall Guys" or "Rocket League", where it's a success despite the pricetag... completely ignoring that's basically catching lightning in a bottle. They just ignore games like "Bleeding Edge", "Rocket Arena", or "Disintegration" existed (just to name a few). That's where this is headed. Such a shame. :/

Bleeding Edge, Darwin Project (went to F2P and died because it was to late), The Culling (same) and much more.

Ahh, The Culling, great times indeed. Same for Island of Nyne.

Yet b2p games like pubg are thriving . It all depends on how the game is . Also people buying 2000 dollar pc and then crying about buying a 20 dollar game is beyond pathetic
