Thanks for the replies guys, it makes more sense to me now that Opposing Force added so much to the Half-Life brand and Blue Shift was simply... lackluster. And shorter than what I would've liked.

Nah, I'm just trying to say that it's extremely lackluster compared to Opposing Force which is also an expansion pack. That's all. (edit) Notice that in my original post, I'm continuously comparing it to OF as opposed to the actual game Half-Life. I liked it, sure, but it didn't add much.

Plus, Barney leaves Black Mesa 1st so lucky day for him with Rosenberg, Walter, and Simmons.
FPS are made to be short and speed-run worthy.
