try this:

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life\bshift_german

delete the folder models there. Then you have soldiers again.


for those who has no blood - go to

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life\bshift

edit config.cfg and set here 0 to 1 (config.cfg not violence.cfg)

violence_ablood "1"
violence_agibs "1"
violence_hblood "1"
violence_hgibs "1"

set file to write-protect.
Delete all violence.cfg files you can find.
