How to remove headcrabs?

My friend bought this for me and I have a fear of headcrabs

Anyways to remove them or replace them with something else?

On a more serious note, is there just a way to completely remove them from the game? Like just keep them from spawning or replace there model with something random

Option 1 would be to edit the map files and remove all headcrabs, option 2 replace the model, both are tedious but second one is less. You could maybe go in the files and delete everything related to headcrabs but I'm not sure that would actually remove their code, just their appearance.

go into your models folder for blue shift and replace the headcrab models, easy peasy, copy paste, go find any mod out there

They do jumpscare you in vents, but that's less fear of them and more "aw ♥♥♥♥, now i have 96 protection instead of 100, welp time to reload the file"
