Eli and Dr. Kleiner at the end

I know those scientists at the end who escape before Rosenberg have different names, but they look exactly like Eli Vance and Dr. Kleiner. It is very strange that they gave them different names here and leave that big plot hole in Half Life 2 where you are wondering how they escaped Black Mesa.
I mean Barney is with Dr. Kleiner in HL2, and Barney is one of many security guards so the probability is rather low that Barney met Dr. Kleiner after the events of Blue Shift.
It would make more sense if Dr Kleiner were that Kleiner-like-looking dude at the end you are escaping with.

I think I will just pretend that the scientist at the end were Eli and Dr Kleiner.

Spoiler alert:

There is no such plot hole, Eli is the guy you find in half life after the incident that one that say to you to go surface for help.

Kleiner maybe was not in black mesa that day. Magnusson is other story he was there since the launch you ♥♥♥♥ was for him.

To me is very logic that after black mesa incident survivors tend to find each other since just those could understand what happened to the world. And is evident to me that Rosemberg died at some point. Or maybe he scaped and was not forced to go city 17 as the others.

I just say that I have thousands of ideas to fill present plot holes. And I feel very silly change the name of two guys in your imagination and distorsioning reality.

With all that said... I like imagine that I am Freeman or I used to imagine that breen was my work boss XD

But that doesn't change facts.

Actually, they arent Eli and Kleiner. When you were escaping through the portal, Rosemberg called the black guy "Simon" and the white one "Walter" (knowing that Kleiner's name is Isaac). I don't know if thier names are mentionned in the english version.

That is what I said in my first sentence.Turambar explained some possible solutions for the plotholes in HL2 although some sound a bit far-fetched

Fun fact: It's the same Walter that Adrian Shephard heard from the scientist that was explaining the Barnacle Grapple.

Fun fact, some time before Adrian found the same scientist from the hologram reciving some tingles from an electricity cable ^^
