New Quality of Life update

Hello!

Extortion will be 4 years old next week !

I've been working on some quality of life fixes today to change my mind from working on Manufactur'inc demo, my factory management game.

Lots of things we talked about in the Steam Forum, on Discord and in early october IRL convention (my first one!).

Changes:

#1822 - Handle ~ and $PWD when navigating in folders / opening files
Fix save delete image on small screens
#1823 - When restoring a save it sometimes miss informations
#1820 - SCP should handle multiple arguments and download them all
#1775 - You are not able to go in the parent directory of "/" anymore
#1773 - Autocompletion doesn't work with clearLogs command
#1660 - User shouldn't be able to type while commands are running
#1659 - When a user doesn't exist, passwordBruteForce shouldn't reply "Password found: ?" but an error
#1658 - Fullscreen/Windowed modes
#649 - Copy/Paste (select then CTRL + C to copy, CTRL + V to paste)
Developer side: Update lots of technical dependencies

Simplified Chinese Localization + New Translation system

Hello there!

One month ago, on Github[github.com], one of you submitted a draft to translation extortion to Simplified Chinese. I am extremely happy people take this time to translate the game into their language, so I took time to (try to) review everything and improve the translation system to have a qualitative version.

This update carries a stable version of this simplified Chinese version as well as the new translation system.

Wait! I found a bug. How do I give feedback?

I also want to talk about another project I am working on. [Beta] Simplified Chinese and new translation system

Hello there!

One month ago, on Github[github.com], one of you submitted a draft to translation extortion to Simplified Chinese. I am extremely happy people take this time to translate the game into their language, so I took time to (try to) review everything and improve the translation system to have a qualitative version.

I already applied this version to the Store page and achievements, but I am now here to ask players (you!) for help with the game itself.
Since I had to change lots of stuff, this specific update will also impact French, English, and Swedish versions in addition to this new Simplified Chinese version.

So, what am I asking? Download the beta version and launch a new game (this is important, it won't affect already done actions in-game), and play the game. If you notice any issues with the text formatting or content, I'd love to hear from you before I release this update.

So, how to play beta?

Restart your Steam client
Go into game settings via the gear icon on the top right
switching branch to "beta"
Wait for the update
Play!

Saves from a Demo version?

So, I went through the whole demo and bought the game. However I cannot continue the game, only start a new one. Is there a way to retrieve my progress? I'm not really not eager to type all those passwords without propper ctrlC ctrlV :(

Hello world, Here are some problems I encountered. Maybe some are fake issues and it's a layer 8 issue :p The first IP to connect to is 98.454.546.45. Bytes greater than 255? "scp file1 file2 file3" downloads everything. I checked in /bin/, all three files are there. Problem: the mission does not update, you have to download the files one by one. ssh.log is not filling. At the start of the game you have to clear your logs but this file contains nothing. Auto-completion with clearLogs does not work e...

i just started playing and im at the very start when you have to find the 2 banking accounts out of the very few. however ive finished on one acccount and now when i type exit to leave the server, instead of taking me out of the account it takes me to the main menu....
