i am 100% sure the solution to the last level is window re-sizing. that's impossible on deck. how am i supposed to do that?

I was stuck on 2-10 and looked up the solution. There are 2 rules: All shapes must be connected There has to be 4 segments between each connected shape But why the second rule "lights up" if you draw for example an empty two segment line?
