Most of the reviews i see are from 2021. What is the condition of the game? Are the penetration and cannon shots still mostly RNG calculated? I have the victory at sea pacific and the precursor with lots of hours logged. Is it an enjoyable, stable, balanced game now?...

I find the entire "pre-dreadnought" and ironclad era of naval warfare fascinating, as the navies of the world tested out different ship designs, trying to figure out what worked best. Is it possible to retreat from a battle map? I had a battle where I intercepted an enemy vessel and sank it. However, because the battle took place close to an enemy fort the battle continued. I tried moving my fleet off the edge of the map but they refused simply spinning at the red border. In the end I had to autoresolve and I ended up with heavy loses because my fleet was never designed to attack a fort....

Problems abound, missing textures, ships out of control, weird UI, and I can't even finish the tutorial. Oddly enough, I could play the tutorial in the demo version just fine, and when I paid for the game, it performed worse than the free demo. Anyway, I will keep this game in my library and not ask for a refund, because I am sure you will make it better until it becomes a playable game or a good game.
