Cant escort Dusty for "New Souls for the Brotherhood"

I got the quest during chapter 1 and now I'm on chapter 2. I've exhausted all dialogue for Dusty, Melvin, Baal Tondral, and the old gate guards.

Anytime i tell Dusty i will help him over to the swamp camp, my character mentions that he has to talk to the gurus first. I've spoken to everyone i could think of and Baal Tondral wont even talk to me anymore.

Is the quest bugged? and if so, is there anyway to complete it with console commands or a save editor. I'm really into my swamp camp run and i wanna get this quest done and save my boy Dusty.

Guys, this quest was supposed to be done in chapter one as part of you getting the Baals approval (Baal Tondral specifically) and joining the swamp camp.

The "bug" here -- if we can call it that -- is that the game did not fail the quest for you when you didn't get it done in time and joined some other camp. It should not be in your quest log anymore.

That's what i was afraid of. I wish it failed when i finished my admission quest, then id have known in time. It's a shame i can't finish it anyways since all the npc's needed are still there.

Yea, it's really weird that you can't still recruit him into the swamp camp, even if you no longer need the favor from Baal Tondral.

A bit whack if you ask me.
