Report a translation problem
German wasn’t translated. It is one of 2 source languages the game was written in.
It is what it is, I loved all Gothic games even with my boring english versions. :)
This would have been really great.
Hey,
thanks for the response. Interesting to hear that. Its maybe because it is not easy to convey a medieval fantasy setting in german. Other games have the same "problem". Like Witcher for example: The polish language is very good, the german good and the english version superb. Both polish and english sounds native, while the german version sounds translated.
Overall, your team did a very good job with the dialogues and voices. In all my playthroughs the game sold me the imersion to be a Gothic game. Which is exactly what I want it do be. So keep up your awesome work!
