they have made the demo for a convention 2023 tfor journalists to play and it never was meant to be released to public. but the fans saw the videos and wanted to play the demo as well so the devs reworked the story, added some provisionally voice overs in some languages and thats it. its more of a tech demo, an alpha version. the code of the demo is from over an year ago. i bet a lot has changed since then...

What bothers me the most is how they implemented the WASD movement. A, D, and S should not turn the character! A and D should be strafe, and S should be backpedal. Turning the character around should be done from mouse movement!

Well obviously not. A beta has the whole game or most of it.

This has 6 characters out of 600, 30 min of gameplay out of 50 hours, 3 weapons out of I'd guess 300, and so on.

It's a demo of the beta, containing 1% of the game.

Yep. We will get a little bit of tweaks and that's it. Too little time.

Who needs to remember it's a demo and it influences our opnion about the game are they.
Yes it is a demo. But you need to release the best to attract all gamers. Not this think.
This product is what I got to decide if I will buy it or not. And now, it's play 30fps when I normal get more than 100fps on same resolution and no upscaling.

This is why we don't get demos anymore..optimization is a final stage of development and devs work right up until release.

Does this demo even have DLSS yet?
