Gothic 1 Remake

small ideas and improvements to the atmosphere
-When the hero comes out of the water he is wet, but I don't see any drops of water sliding down from him. it would be nice if that happened.

-When the hero consumes different foods, I would like to hear the appropriate sound noises for each object: a smacking sound for eating meat, a crunchy sound for bread. In any case, I haven't heard anything... you should also be able to SEE the respective objects when the hero eats them. If the hero eats a piece of bread, this should also be visible in the hand.

-You can find the sounds at the beginning of the demo. I would like it if the hero could also play this for atmospheric purposes. In the original game you could interact with some objects in the inventory, I would like that.

-At the beginning in the lake at the exchange place, when you dive down, you see an underwater corpse, if you swim against it, there could be a collision, it moves rather than just standing rigid and motionless.

-When the hero finds the first weapon and the bow, these should NOT be equipped automatically. the player should help himself. In Gothic you have to pay attention to every little detail yourself and not take the player to help you. You have a new weapon, great, if you forget to put it on, your bad luck :).

-It would be cool if you could OPTIONALLY set in the options whether the time of day can be read in the questbook. If you don't want it, you simply don't need to activate it. Or add a time like in Kingdome Come, where you can read the time of day from the sun in the quest book. would be even more realistic

-If you walk through mud, traces of mud might briefly appear on the ground. It no longer seems so static and the world appears more realistic. With today's games in unreal 5, that's to be expected. Also, the hero's boots might get a little dirty when walking through mud.

-please add a torch crackling sound when lighting the torch from inventory.

All those things were in the original game, so including them in the remake would be much recommended and not hard to do. Adding animations during conversations would also bring back the character of the original

Yes, you're partly right, but I welcome the somewhat calmer conversation animation in the remake than in the original. In the original it was very exaggerated with the gesturing and sometimes it didn't fit with the conversation at all. The way it's going now, I just think it's more realistic.
