Im cool with the foliage and clutter, G2 had lots and made the world feel more full. Yes they need to improve the graphics a bit and maybe the contrast.
The music is spot on, and dialog is great. The colony needs to feel like a gloomy prison camp full of murderers, thieves, and rapists. Gothic 3 ruined itself with how cheery and happy everyone and everything was, and the music was just too "epic world" for what should've been grit.
there is a toggle in the game options menu for highlighting objects.
mines turned on but i dont think it works at all tbh.
@lurler
so what youre saying is that this game is exactly the same as the original except the graphics. thats not really a remake then is it?
a remake should evolve the thing its remaking, not keep it exactly the same.
and yes, the graphics are ♥♥♥♥ and performance hogs
Not being able to see items is simply a consequence of that.
So, the solution is not to highlight items, the solution must address the root cause - graphics.
