We understand how important modding tools are to the Gothic community, and we made some decisions early on to make modding possible to some extend. At release people who are tech savvy can modify the games data and scripts. We later on plan to release more documentation and tools. For now there is no ETA for that.

This game really needs only one mod: removing the lockpick mechanic! It's so broken that there's nothing to fix, and nothing will help except completely removing it. It's good that such a mod already exists.

the possibility of modding the game to your hearts content, is the reason the original gothic 1 is still alive

Is there a plan to invent a modding Tools for the playstation 5 version of Gothic Remake? If not, it's very unfair that modding will be exclusive for pc players, and I would be very angry and disappointed

Work on the second game instead please. I just finished the game not sure if I should wait for remake 2 or play the old game since this is my first gothic game.
