Really? That's top of the list as far as you're concerned?
I hope the Game holds up and is a wider success.
In the remake they focus more on the "Orc enclave", as it was called and bring more depth to Orcs and their background, etc... This could indeed be a fantastic groundwork for a G3 story-overhaul.
And while we're here in this thread dreaming into the future: would be cool to get an Archolos port as well, from those responsible for it.
Edit:
Chronicles of Myrtana Team said no ;).
The Desert seemed so rushed and had (in my opinion) huge potential for a standalone or later Addon like NotR.
Better to not make the same mistakes and have a huge empty world with just garbage loot and "collectibles" (Yeah...I mean you Elex -.-" )
Although I'd like to see them try to make a huge and vast area interesting. Originally there were mounts (camels, etc..) planned, but they scrapped that idea for whatever reason. The emptiness suffered a lot from inaccessability rendering it bland and tedious imo.
All in all G3 story-wise might prove to be the most difficult to improve, because there isn't that much compared to the other games. It wasn't really going anywhere. The climax and milestones felt underwhelming.
I appreciated the new ideas and the will to actually try something different with the faction system. But ultimately for me it failed to deliver the story.
Alkimia eventually might get there while improving and adding lore, etc..to the previous ones and then build upon that.
At least it's fun to speculate :)!
If you can provide the source, please do
G3 remake would be a dream coming true.
Gothic 3 and Risen are not my cup of tea though.
