to me a cult classic exists because what was found in the cult classic isn't found in any game since
2. However, I posted the real truth of it all. Believe me.
Also, you read very incorrectly, indeed. I said, I love anything Piranha Bytes made. And it is true.
It was a whole other experience to go through the game and getting screamed at in German left and right, understanding only like 40% of everything as a kid.
Still one of my most culty gaming experiences :)
...and I am guy who's started to play when Atari 800 XE 8bit was in its prime, mind you :D
Only after several years, I heard from friends and internet that Gothic is actually a great game—if you can bear with the highly unusual controls, that is, hh, and have fallen in love with its many ingenuine elements.
My whole point in the joke I made was really just a joke and nothing else. I love the game, but I am sane about its quirks, and I wanted to get back at dze funny Germanz in a musing "joke - revenge", that's all.
I don't wish them wrong or nothing, quite on the contrary. I sincerely and with all my heart hope that they'll find the way to ressurect themselves, yet again. Even after having faced those latest unfortunate turn of events of theirs. Their games were always one of a kind great open world RPGs.
Just really used to creating and customizing a character in newer RPG's. I'll give it a pass for Gothic, but they kinda need to get with the times on that one.
