The development is perfectly on plan. But unfortunately there is no release date yet.
"I assume year or two"
Ok
Dude's a bored troll.
AND which gothic fan cares that much about graphics? xD
Also, you might not remember but i still do. Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 had really good graphics back in 2001/2003, for an open-adventure game at least.
Like for me graphics is not that important but let's take witcher 3 old version. Graphics looks amazing imo and to these days it's "outdated" so if graphics in gothic remake would be similar to quality of witcher 3 graphics, it would be outdated but also no one would care that much because it would be HUGE improvement from original gothic.
And I like graphics in original gothics because it's unique, so true, for 2001/2003 it was great.
Do we have rough time scales at all? even if just the year of release.
I would not want to play G1 I know by heart yet again, but remake, sure.
I hope it gets extra stuff. And finishes the chromanin quest.
Plus with hindsight they can fix many things too.
this game will be a "duke nukem foreve"r type of story and the result will be mostly the same.
you will release it, it will be a medcore rpg, in 2024 it will have outdated graphics already, and therefore a 50-60% rating which will not bring in the cost spend in and so the license will take a wandering path.
Exactly.
I don't even know why I am saying this because there is no point but whatever... Graphics will be outdated because you said that. In 2024 there will be already Unreal Engine 10.
