The good thing about Gothic games is that you can replay one time for each faction.

Go play the original. I guarantee you will hate this remake even with original being old and clunky! Apart from Witcher 3 Gothic 1 and 2 are the only games where world felt alive. It's an amazing game.

G1 20-25 hours for a "normal" playthrough. 30 or even more hours if you "hang around".
500 hours if you play it 15 times and play the mods.

Gothic II was such a good game. With updated graphics, you could easily play it in 2021 and have plenty of fun. It beats many current RPG titles easily.
