I only played a few games, but it seems I am always far short of laural wreaths when time runs out. Seems there is a LOT of luck to be involved. You must get the right random tiles and the right random cards and have placed the right workers/soldiers to perform the quests in time. In two games after 7 turns I was only able to get 2 and then 5 our of 15 needed for victory and so lost on "time". I did get a good card in the 6th turn that if gotten a few turns earlier I might have been able to win, but see ...

I think here to post some questions and thoughts Last time I played I noticed a card named "remove a minor curse" that card costs 2 victory points and rewards for it the very same 2 victory points at the expense of single enchanter, without any additional printed benefits... that looks like a bug to me :3...

I really like this game. i played that map like 100 times, and once i was close (needed about 5-6 more units to finish quests) that Race is utterly crappy and I hate to play them. their advantage (you can move anywhere is utterly useless, if you cannot start due to lack of EVERY resource basically and the cards are I get are also useless, i resigned about 1000 times....... Was anyone able to finish that? The centaurs where really hard too, but not as hard as the birds....

Different monsters have different strengths and need to be countered in different ways. And as player level increases the disparity increases. How to deal with that? Use explorers.
