What is a rainbow slime and what does it do?

I found this wierd rainbow slime once while trying to beat the game with the crumpled character sheet. It also had some wierd status effect that i could'nt read before i killed it.

I think it's suppose to give gold or something for killing it, also the status is transpherancy the status added to the roundrels kit last update, it just means a percentage of your orbs damage goes to the target behind them and rainbow has 100 so you pierce it completely

Unless it's been changed, It's got gold that gets added to the pegs. The problem is that it often is the last thing killed and won't be of much use while you're still able to collect coins.
