2x speed instead of 1.5x
I WANT 1.5x back
or at least having the option to alternate between 2x and 1.5x

Agreed. 2x is slighty too fast, and 1x is too slow. Goldilocks this thing for us, will ya?

I preferred 1.5x as well. I don't see why they removed it. Seems like more effort to remove a feature than to leave it as it was. Wasn't like it was costing them any resources to keep it...

Yes, whats wrong with both?

Nothing was removed just changed for default, you can still change game speed in options to 1.5 or 2 or 3

I don't see why we shouldn't be able to cycle through them.

Until I took a look, I didn't even know there was a 3x speed, apparently it's buggy and not recommended. Could just leave that out of the cycle.

If this happens to you every time you close and open game again then this is a bug. If you mean that you had 1.5 speed before update and it changed to 2 speed after update, then it's one time thing for people that opened the game for the first time (since the update).
Edit.
It's defenitly a bug, 3 speed saves and 1.5 speed does not save.

It resets to 2x in the Settings menu every time I open the game. It's definitely a bug then, and it happens to both myself and a streamer friend, and I'm pretty sure one of our other friends as well. Is this not a bug that's already known about then? Seems annoying enough that I would have thought it would be. There's also been a bug-fix update since this started.

Ugh 😩 I came here to post the same thing. I'm sick and tired of going into the settings and changing this.

Why do yall never check settings? It's right there in the settings

I still want an option to set different speed settings for playing and a separate speed for map transitions. That way, I can speed through the transitions without worrying about physics differences on 3x speed, or even higher.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I tried looking everywhere to see if I can manually edit a file to make the default be always 1.5x but I found nothing. There is not even mods for something like that.
