Dragon Boss Tips
Hello

How do you kill the dragon boss? It has 12k HP, I arrived there absolutely madness OP and could not get it under 10K lol

I've been to it 4 times now and had no chance.

I would make sure that every build has some amount of healing in it regardless of boss. The game relies on so much RNG that it's impossible to give you any easily replicable strategy, you'll want to just make a bunch of small decisions to get the power you need. Some orbs and relics that might seem underwhelming during normal fights are much better against bosses.

If you can pick up any orbs with multiball (Matryorbshka being ideal), I was able to get first-turn-wins against the Dragon and Minesweeper bosses by having enough of the multiballs go down the X2 holes generated by the Weighted Chip relic. The Bad Cheese/Round Guard combo is a free win against that boss, RIP if you fight the wall boss in act 2 with it though. Orbs/relics that make pegs better are great here because there are so many pegs, Splatorb and Ballm being some of my favorites.

I won't make separate paragraphs for each decent relic/orb, but here are some that your build can benefit from in that specific fight that people might overlook: Kinetic Meteorite, Sand Arrows, Haglin's Hat, Peglinero's Pendant, Beckoning Crit. Prime Slime. And of course the generally good relics are good here too like Popping Corn, Duplication Station, and Pegbag.

Aside from that, just make sure you play this following normal Roguelike strategy such as; remove any orbs from your bag that don't synergize with your build, feel free to avoid taking a boss relic if they all would be bad for your build, spend gold wisely when upgrading your orbs since each upgrade after a fight makes the next upgrade more expensive, spend as little gold on healing after fights as possible, fights are a guaranteed source of gold while question mark spaces on the map aren't guaranteed to give you anything, some orbs benefit more from being upgraded than others so upgrade those first, you can return to the main menu to restart a room if you feel like you lost too much health or got a bad bag order.

when every you get the option to get healing in any form take it since even the small amout of healing can go long ways

Definite agreement on the healing aspect, though the requirement goes down somewhat if you have reliable high damage output. What I can't recommend though is a red bomb build: I just tried that and successfully blew up the dragon in a massive explosion... and blew myself up as well, all the way from max HP (only 50 in this case). Didn't even get an achievement for that :-(
