Leaf the Rest is a very specific synergy relic, you only take it if your build has synergy with it (read, you've built a full refresh build, such as using the one orb that gives +1 mucircle every time you refresh after firing it, refreshing punch, ect). This is the case for all of the boss relics, they aren't relics that you can just take every time generally. The only one that you could, the squirrel one, was nerfed by making it burn itself out after so many uses. Still the only one without a downside, other than the fact it isn't a permanent boost/change to your build.
