A roller coaster is thrilling but most people like it and only a few actually stay away from it forever after trying it maybe once.
As long as it's safe (it's just a game after all) you might decide to enjoy the trip again.
It will take time for me to recover from the insanity of it all. It's well done as far as a horror is concerned, and does a far better job than the vast majority of horror movies out there. It's the aftertaste which stuck with me.
Not telling you what to do, I'll just tell you what I've done with my wife (context: we're both gamers, 1 pc next to the other one, she hates horror games especially those with jump scares while i love them) in order to be able to play without her leaving the room: I've been watching with her some funny YouTube videos of streamers playing the game and getting scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, big muscled bearded men screaming like schoolgirls, until she started laughing at what was happening. Now i can play on my PC and she's not scared anymore watching me play :)
You could try watching streamers as well, just a hint, you don't have to.
The grandma like an example always show up for me so I’m more like ok can you get done talking so I can do my job now?
I still have yet to get the rest of the endings so we will see how that goes
It's good though. I enjoy trying to deduce which body it is inhabiting and which demon it is!
its fun to use though......it could be a little bit more accurate.
try take comfort from fact that possession is not possible in real world. There is no spirits who can take control of..anything.
Then remains the fear of bodies..I have this too and still tempted to buy this. good old corpse horror is so rare nowadays, it was normal at 60s-80s..still remember as kid being horrified on every funerals in horror series/movies in tv.
Steam store trailer of this game reminds me of those old horror clips in tv, a lil bit realism merged with fantasy.
Only comfort on that fear of body issue is just realizing it's a game, not documentary.
In game Thief zombies was horrifying for me, it made playing those maps very hard and slow with stress levels high, hated them and thought why sneaking game had those.
I started to make more closer contacts on those NPCs and duelled with them, died with them after duelling ofc, ran past and lured them to traps and..just walked with them at safe distance..those are slow...kind a desensitized myself to those foes in that game.
At the end I noticed that they are just like ANY other npcs in game, be it living or not , human or animal.
Soon I LOVED all zombie maps..it was total 180 degree turn :).
And nowadays I think zombies BELONGS in Thief game as much as Hammerite faction.
