Also, sometimes you'll find the demon's House but see that more than one in that House matches two symbols you've located. In this case, you'll almost always have to embalm all bodies. Try again next shift.
Best of luck and don't worry, you'll get it eventually.
What reason does he have for locking us up if we are NOT possessed by the end of the night? Regardless if we banished the demon or not, we are still safe, all things considered.
Or, rather the other way around: why when we are possessed, we either act all demonic (maniacal laughter, demon voice etc.), or we are 100% our plain selves ("Mr Delver?" instead of "Raymond?" and pure panic and fear for our lives)
That's a good question and point. My take on it is that it depends on how miserably we've failed, ha! That's meaning what and how much we'd done wrong.
Perhaps if our failure is minor, possession does take place but the demon hasn't yet fully manifested and taken over Rebecca's personality. Whereas, if we 'really' mess things up, Rebecca's clearly all demon inside.
In either instance (if I'm to guess any further), Raymond believes he has to lock Rebecca away based off experience with previous assistants who'd manifested demonic possession after failing the same tasks. I think they discuss that at some point.
I don't know for sure but I know I love this game. :)
Also, I got the achievement today! First body practicaly all but explicitly told me it's "the one". Burned it before even looking at the other two, and I was right :)
