My game doesn't open

I tried to launch the game several times, but right after it gets to the logo (before the menu) it goes back to the steam library.

I've already checked the files, turned off my antivirus and all other background apps and the game just won't start.

I'm not sure why this issue would be popping up but I will look into it. Is it always after the unity logo?

Yes, always. The logo shows up and the game closes without any kind of warning or anything like that.

I answered in the other thread so I'll probably close that one since it's older and we can continue on yours here. That way anyone experiencing the same issue currently can find the most recent conversation, chime in, or find out what may be wrong, so I'll ask the same questions here before I close out the other thread.

What are your system specs?

Also be sure to try updating your video card drivers as well as check if there are any other updates for windows or other hardware you might have.

Another one can be to verify file integrity or uninstall and re-install the game.

And yes, I checked all the game files and updated all my drivers, from video drivers to other things, I disabled antivirus and everything I could, I tried to run as admin and everything I could, even reinstalled the game several times.

My system specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz, 8GB RAM

Same thing happens to me! I've tried to launch multiple times and after the Unity loading screen, the game crashes. I'm so disappointed, I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times and I've made sure my system is up to date.

What video cards do you two have? Trying to see if there is a common thread here.

No, I had never played before, I bought the game a few days ago and since I bought it I've had this problem

No, I had never played before, I bought the game a few days ago and since I bought it I've had this problem

When I had this problem with the demo it turned out to be because the laptop I had at the time didn't have the specs to run the game so perhaps it could be a similar issue?

but search " openxr_loader.dll " if you find it, delete him and launch the game

Sorry for the late reply here. Lots going on. The Graphics card you have looks like it doesn't meet the system requirements posted on the Steam page sadly. The minimum required video card is a GeForce GTX 960.

I've been working hard to lower that requirement, and I believe I have but I don't want to claim such without testing (I do not have a lower spec machine currently). The other problem though is shaders. Certain cards are simply unable to support various shaders or other current tech used for rendering which could cause a crash like this.

I wish I could be more help but unless I change the rendering method (which would require a complete re-work of a lot of things) for lower spec machines, there's a hard limit to what can run it. I'm not against this work at all, in fact, I'd love to support all I can. It's more of a time issue currently to spend the time required to move it over.

I'm doing some support work for my previous title but then I will be back on to this and I can maybe take a look at what is not supported specifically and see what I can do on that end, but I can't make any promises. I'm really sorry you're experiencing this and I will continue to try and support as much as I can.
