The Mortuary Assistant
Based on Real Paranormal Events
If true I am wondering if anyone has found the events the game is based off of

Fig Newton if true
Then get your Fig Newtos ready because it was definitely a real ghost. I'm getting goosebumpts just thinking about it. It was so scary. I was going upstairs to get some mountain dew to quench my parched mouth from these tendies (my mom always burns them, fml). The lights were out, but I'm a big guy. I don't scare easy. Especially when I always carry at least one shoulder strapped die katakana and four-to-seven ninja stars on my "survival missions". But tonight I was extra ready, I had my custom home-build airsoft lego nightvision goggles. They make it kinda hard to see details on account of the light they shine back into my eyes, but it's worth it for the surprise element. Anyway I get to the fridge and that's when I feel it A cold chill. I whipped around so fast the code red slipped out of my hand. It couldn't have been the fridge because this cold had a smell to it. Granted I hadn't showered that week (I'm too busy for that), but I've conditioned myself and those around me to streghten their oldactory sensetivites. It was definitely a haunting. Then in the corner of my eye I saw one of those ghost orbs like in Ghost Adventures. It definitely couldn't have been the light from the fridge reflecting off of something because the door would have blocked it. That's right there was a REAL ghost peresence. If Zach Baggins had been there, he would have said "woah" for sure and tried to fight it. Even though he doesn't do that anymore becasue it made his eyesight bad. So yeah, like I said I'm a big brave boy, but I know when a tactical retreat is necessary. I got out of there. A few minutes later mom shouted downstairs that there was mountain dew all over the floor and she'd heard somebody crying. Maybe the crying was the ghost? I guess well never know.

Well, a lot of people who got the so called "sleep paralysis" reported strange sightings of demonic/evil forms while experiencing that event. Coincidence? Idk

Oh please ♥♥♥♥ off dude ... it's already sufficiently researched what these 'sightings' actually are, those are disturbences of the perception which stem from the same issue as the SP itself, the brain shutting down/booting up in the wrong order

Is it scary? Hell yeah
Is it anything paranormal? ♥♥♥♥ no
How does it come so many people don't know about it? Because people are bloody morons and instead of consulting a specialzed doctor, they consult the bloody interwebz

Please stop spreading such outragously obvious false information (and yes, you aare spreading false information, framing it as 'Just asking questions?' isn't even used by those QAnon-smooth brains anymore because it's such a thinly veiled attempt to gisguise empty false claims to try to steer the narrative
U smart

As a paranormal investigator myself, please disregard the message from the user Theryo2001. The events in this game, The Mortuary Assistant as to my knowledge are not based on any events in particular. However I can tell you many of the plot pieces in this game do ring true to a story that is passed around in an old midwest town not unlike Davenport, Iowa. Most of the stories of these events that plagued a family funereal home are only known second hand. She said, he said you understand me?

I do recall coming across tales in my journeys of a pale face figure haunting the deceased in many places across the united states dating back to the 1870s.

Off topic, but why does Rebecca not wear nitrile medical gloves when handling corpses?
I think everyone got off-topic. "based on true events" can be someone's story or stories, I think that is the real question here, what is it based on? Or is that a throwaway line in the game for effect?
