Here also is the full list of where the eyecaps can appear in game:
1: Bottom drawer of cabinet between computer and end of operating bed location
2: behind the computer monitor next to where the red lampshade and clipboard are
3: shelf to the right of the cavity fluid, above the drawers for the id cards
4: same shelf as the cavity fluid, just to the right of it
5: on top of the cupboards between the window and printer
Most likely this is an existing, but very hard to reproduce, bug that prevents the retort from working once there has been an issue with the haunt system.
If you can, before you go into the game again, it could be really useful to grab your player.log and savedata.dsd files, zip them, and add them to the publisher's discord, please. The link to their discord server is in the patch notes of each update on steam.
Since this latest update the log has been enabled, which will hopefully yield an error message for the problem that lead to the retort button issue.
The files are found by opening Windows Explorer and then copy/pasting this path into the address bar and pressing Enter:
The other issue sounds like you may have been clipped or teleported through a wall. Not sure what causes it (or can stop it reliably) at this point, but it shouldn’t be too frequent. Thanks for reporting it.
Just had a bug where it didn't spawn in eye caps searched the entire area just to be sure. All of my items spawned in different location this run through, and I noticed there was two spawns for the clamp
is if your cursor is on an object too long it the x that appears when you try to pick up an object doesn't go away and it makes your sensitivity really slow and it takes forever to look left and right or up and down. also a problem with the gurney when you grab it you cant look left or right which makes turning it really difficult because you spend ages turning it around to get the body.
please fix this
I've been trying to do an offline recording and I've had to delete many of them some longer than an hour because this bug has happened and i cannot continue with the game because i can barely look around so i have to start a new shift.
I have some guesses as to what may be happening, but those guesses could be wrong.
We started a new shift after getting ending 3 of 5 and the cavity fluid bags did not spawn anywhere. We tried restarting from the menu three times, but everything spawned in the exact same places with the bags still missing each time. Closing and relaunching the game also yielded the same result. Item randomization was on, the only thing that fixed it was turning it off.
EDIT: She wanted me to mention we combed over the whole place roughly 3-4 times. It's possible we might have just not seen them, but we really looked hard for them and couldn't find them...
In case this should recur (for anybody), the full list of locations they can spawn are as follows. My guess is that if they aren't found, it's probably location 2.
1. default location, left side of cupboard on wall to right of doors leading to cold storage room
2. on the tray below the pump (probably a place you could overlook them when they're placed there)
3. top shelf of the glass cabinet between the computer and hall to the lobby/reception
4. on top of the floor cupboards just to the right of the doors leading to cold storage
5. first floor cupboard on the left from the window and radiator
hi there so i figured it out
basically there is something wrong with the sensitivity i thought it was because i left my cursor on an object for 15 20 seconds to go do something, but its not . i have to keep changing the look sensitivity and tick and untick ' high dpi mouse' so it works again. when i grab the gurney it takes a good 20 seconds for me to turn it to put the body back for example i don't know what it is but before the update the Halloween one it didn't happen.
shout out to the devs though !!!!!! this game is incredible :)
