Hello!

Feel free to post any issues that you're currently experiencing in The Mortuary Assistant in this thread. This'll help keep a lot of the reports from players together and easier to parse through for us!

The DEMO does not work for me?
i can start the game but i cant press anything for exaple "start game, options or exit game" pls help!!!!??
I haven't been able to get past the tutorial. I've tested it numerous times, and it always freezes during the first two lines of dialogue in the tutorial, or whenever I enter the small room with the mirror. I've tried waiting, verifying file integrity, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing has worked so far.

Edit: I tried skipping the tutorial to see if that fixed the freezing, and it did, although now I can't get the "complete the tutorial" achievement.

Bugs I experienced during my play-through of The Mortuary Assistant.

1) Runes: discovered via Letting Strips will sometimes spawn without any rune in the center, just the square. (I have a public screen cap).
2) Runes which spawned on move-able objects would sometimes entirely disappear. Example: a rune spawned on a freezer door that was open, I could see it from the side but to get a close look I closed the door, and it disappeared.
3) Gurney Prompt outside. When I was about to grab the Gurney to cart the body into the freezer room I was forced into a cut scene that took me outside of the building. I still had the prompt to use the Gurney. When I activated the prompt the Gurney and body came outside to me. I tried to take the Gurney back inside via the back door to the freezer room and in through the front door. I was able to get the Gurney through the double front doors and into the hallway to the embalming room, but I could not get past the door into the embalming room. (Screen caps public).
4) At one point there was a spooky Demon ghost woman at the end of the hall to the freezer room, I did not notice her as i was backing the Gurney into the freezer toward the retort, for burning. I clipped through her and put the body into the retort for burning, but the demon woman stayed frozen staring at the doors exiting the freezer room as the end game collapse began. (Screen caps public).
5) After having a jump-scare event where a force pushes Rebecca over my character was stuck in the sitting position on the ground. When I would look down I did not see her shirt/legs in the standing position, but I saw her sitting on the ground sliding around like a pupper with an itchy butt, instead of walking.
6) Had an issue where a spooky body movement event caused me to be locked in a room away from the body. Luckily these events allow the doors to open after the body is done doing its thing.
7) I like to enter through the back door and open all freezer doors and pull out all body-drawers for the most ergonomic play while speed running for the 50 burns/100 embalms achievement, and when the freezer door events take place the doors will open and close even when the bodies are pulled out, clipping through the body/drawer.
8) When trying to burn a body the retort would not accept the Gurney, I switched bodies and burnt the wrong one instead - as the Retort, for some reason, would not allow that body to be burned. (Maybe the Demon was just trying to live his best life?)
-You can't place coins in hanged Rebecca's hands in the asylum haunt event
You can place coins in her hands if the hanged Rebecca event happened in the hallway to the morgue. But you can't in the asylum event where the shadow of demon tortures the hanged Rebecca's body. Is this glitch or correct behavior? If this is a correct behavior, I have no idea why I can't. This feels like just a glitch rather than a story explanation. If this is a correct behavior, the hanged Rebecca shouldn't hold her hands exactly the same way with her in the hallway. It's confusing for players.
Edit: I finally checked the box and the memo in that scene. So the asylum one is supposed to be a hint for the hallway event? Someone should update the wiki immediately! But this will keep players confused. Can you make the memo and the box stand out more like putting them more closely to the body or putting a shimmering light stand on the desk or something? When I experienced this event for the first time, I didn't even notice that these things were there.

I got freeze again.
I was running to get out of the basement with the strip in my hand. When I stepped into the stair, the game got frozen.
I was on the second body to mix the fluid. I wanted to use the reagent in the basement to see if it makes any change. I was on Full Screen mode.

Edit: I got freeze again after Continue at exactly the same point. Right before the stairs. I didn't hold the strip this time.
Edit2: I tried for the third time, but this time, without having the strip in my inventory. Then finally I could get out of the basement without freeze! The strip is causing the freeze? Because it's always rendered in her hand?

I appear to be having the issue with mouse sensitivity resetting as well... when loading into an area etc, it turns down to about 25% (default?) and I have to put it back up to 50% again.

Not looking for answer if I simply overlooked something, I just felt I got to a bug and the gameplay stopped being fun or interesting until I quit and restarted. After failing 3 times, I think, to id a correct body, I finally seemed to have it. Placed seal on body, the "doom sounding/ timer" stopped. Placed ash bag in crematorium, set body up to cremation. Pushed button, nothing. Repeatedly, nothing, just click. Lit matches, a bloody seal appeared on cadaver chest. Checked receptacle at bottom of cremator, nothing was showing but when I checked bags, they were inaccessible to select again. Kinda looked all over place for anything, nothing helped. Finally exited game. I returned and was happy to find myself in the hall with the selected cadaver, so proceeded to finish cremation again, the "doom timer" was going again. I encountered getting thrown to floor in hall which previously let to possession for failure to beat time, but instead I could proceed this time. This time everything lit up, but there it was, crawling at me from the flames and I awoke possessed again. None of it seemed to flow correctly so I still couldn't shake that it was bugge.

i agree with you, cuz my gtx 1650/ryzen 5 3600/ 16gb ram, runs about 80% GPU consumption when running game

Good evening. I've got the most up-to-date update, and the Same Demon Same Symbols thing is happening. It's worth noting that (maybe I am lucky) that this did not happen to me when first playing the game. I do have a screenshot if you think it would help.
-Suggestion for the hanged Rebecca in asylum event to avoid confusion.

*Problem: Currently, if you click around the neck of the hanged Rebecca in the asylum, the event ends earlier before the player check the hand, the memo and the box. This can confuse the player by skipping everything and let them fail to understand that this is the hint for another event and a story bit.

*Solution: Don't trigger the neck interaction (which ends the event) until the player check all three hints, the coin in her hand, the memo, the coin and the necklace inside the box.
This way, the player definitely know that this is a hint for another event, not the event itself. And also they can understand the story a bit more. IMO this shouldn't be a hidden, optional information.
I'm not getting "All endings" achievement, even though I already have them all
opening the drawers in the apartment plays the sound for opening and only the content of the drawer get's pulled out, the drawer ist still "closed".

edit: happens to almost all drawers now. but stuff you can interact with is still "pulled out"

Have you tried going in to start a new shift again since getting the last ending? There was a patch note where an extra catch has been put in place to try and deal with this, where it makes a check on your endings progress at the start of a new shift as well in case it did get missed.
dear devs,

so i´m ending the game 5 times and sadly i facing a few bugs.
-tubes where cutting off in the body, can´t do anything until the demon takes over me.
-invisible or glitching sigils in the wall/floor (in the room where only windows are)
-ghosts standing a long time in the floor, don´t doing anything and won´t disappear

and just a suggestion:
it should be able to change the sigils in the mark (or its another bug, i can´t change)

the game itself is very spooky and i like this concept. would be very nice, if suggested bugs could be fixed soon ;)
