How to get the right possessed body? Tips?

I red the Night Shift app in the computer but I don't really, if never see the tenacity?
is there a quick tip you could share to me? I failed 4 times and I don't know why, they said the possessed body have new scratch or they speak or move but every time I chose the most active body it is the wrong one and I end up possessed :(

1. Matches. You can find some on the table near the toilet door. Then you go and pick bags from the fridge room, crouch near the crematorium and pick some dust.
Poor the dust on the corpse's belly and fire it with match then.
You will get symbol there. If it's similar to the one house your demon belongs to, wohoo. If it's not, you have 50% chance to pick the right body.
2. Scars. Demon can make some new scars on the body it belongs to. Re-check corpses. If you find any, most often it's the right person to burn in flames.
3. Smiles, demonic language speaking. Not sure bout that but if the corpse is smiling or talkin to you NOT in engl maybe it's the right one. Maybe not lol.
4. Restart the game. It's extremely buggy, sometimes stuff doesn't work like at all for no reason. Quit to menu and press continue there. Helped me couple of times to make demon scratch some corpses and reveal itself.

Agreed, recommended to save the ashes for last though since it's a one shot. Gather as much evidence beforehand then make your guess. Also, the demon might pull their body out of cold storage by themselves, usually a good indicator but you never know. Also don't take use any of the jumpscares where a body attacks you as evidence, usually a red herring.

Well yeah you are right @most cases dude.
I tried matches in the very beginning couple of times but only when I was able to uncover demon's name using two sigils only and first body spoke to me demonic language. Doesnt happen often, true that.

And yes I definietly got tricked many times because I thought that if a corps is being worked on and I have intense horror during this operation, or the corps talk or have too many scars, I usually go for them and it wasn't a single time... Thanks for the tips! I will improve now
