How do I open the computer?

I know the password (or given it changes, I know where to find the password), but every time I click on the computer or keyboard, Rebecca just says "Forget it."

Is there something else I need to do when observing the password to make it so that Rebecca can use it, or some other part of the computer I need to click on. Clearly from the given instructions, I won't be able to do the job without access to the data stored therein.

Welp - never mind. Apparently you can't use the computer until you get a body, because obviously computers only work in the presence of the dead. How ridiculously annoyingly frustratingly stupid.

At the start, she doesn't believe what is going on is real and just wants to get her job over with. As, from her perspective at that moment, the computer is only used to log the embalming report, she doesn't need the computer until she has a body.

Humans are naturally curious creatures. Just because she doesn't *need* the computer, shouldn't stop her from accessing it. My computer turns on even when I don't need it.
The phone rings, telling you to listen to the tapes which then emphasise the importance of the database and how to access it. Absolutely it's the first thing I try.
