For now just press ESC then continue from last autosave. If not ,just ALT+F4
I was walking back and forth in a hallway with brick walls at either end, some weird noises but nothing else. I'd walked back and forth maybe 5-6 times when I decided to just stop at one end (the end making more noise) and wait, that's when it went dark, like the lights went out but with no audio cue to go with it, just went black.
EDIT: Reloaded from main menu, same event happened again shortly after but seemed to have worked fine this time. I thought I was going crazy the first time. XD
I usually play on windowed mode but I was on full screen when this glitch happened. Before this glitch happened, one of sigils on the wall became empty.
BTW, can you show the version number in the menu screen?
I may be wrong, but I feel ive noticed a huge difference in demon AI between selecting continue for next shift instead of choosing new shift. i'm assuming it saves its behavior profiling of you and pulls it into next shift when you press continue.
I did the same thing. Do devs who can't be bothered to fix bugs after they make an unexpected fortune, care if they waste enormous combined amounts of time people can't get back? Do they believe their time is several orders of magnitude more important than those who were led to believe they were purchasing a finished program, as opposed to a beta test version? On the other hand, on a Steam Deck, they only allow half the time before you become automatically possessed than on a PC. I almost sent the $700+ thing, including sales tax, back for other reasons. If I'd known it would cause problems with the vast majority of games, including the the other "Verified" options, I wouldn't have hesitated.
