Save System?

The game is beautiful, but I wish when I exit the game and come back on, that it would save exactly where I was and what I'm doing.

My personal experience example;
i finish finding everything on the body, put it on the pc. exit game. When I reopen the save I'm standing in the default area and I have to redo the body and anything else I've done in that time. (putting the stone on the body and putting symbols on it.)

The game saves every time you start a new body. It is a bad checkpoint system, but it does exist. It would be nice to have a save slot system

Every playthrough is like 20-30 minutes long, do you really need a better save system? I can only imagine this being an issue if you're trying to save scum by making backups to try to cheat through the RNG.

Nah I just get really scared and need big breaks to calm down before I continue again.

I played for 1 hour and 49 minutes before I got my first save, not realising the report sheet tells you how to do an embalming. I thought I had to figure all of that out myself.
