The letting strip burned but the mark didn't appear.

The last letting strip got burned in the hall between the entry and the embalming room but I can't find the mark. I checked the walls, the floor, the windows, the ceilings and the doors. Anyone else having the same problem?

This situation also happened to me.

I realized that the marks only appeared if I listened to Raymond's tapes and opened the database on the computer first before searching for the marks.

So when you get to the morgue, listen to the tapes, open all the pages in the database and then start looking for the marks.

It will certainly be a bug, with this fourth sigil, yet the mark can appear inside a drawer, inside a closet door and sometimes the demon can also cheat us and "erase" the mark from the world of the living!
Sometimes with only three marks by excluding parts we already have the right name of the demon, the difficult thing is to know in which body to put the clay board with the marks lol.

I previously thought I had a bug either.
But I really think the mark is just well hidden sometimes.

Once I got one paper burned down directly at the entrance door.

The mark was OUTSIDE on the wall, which was pretty weird. oO



And drawers and locker doors were either very nasty happenings. Yet after all, I always find the mark after some searching. :)

The game provides a big amount of randomness. I really enjoy that.

It is very true that the marks are sometimes very well hidden the role of this demon is really to make life difficult for us!
So the marks can be hidden anywhere, outside the funeral home it has never happened to me!
Now the demon erasing my mark often happens just by taking too long to find it or the possession level is high, we see the "rhombus" but empty without the sign".

that happened to me and the mark was actually in the mirror inside the bathroom. I got confused at the time but apparently the strip burns just by being near, ignoring the walls between you and the mark, so if u can find it immediately around you, look on the other side of walls .

I didn't know that the mark could go through the walls of the mortuary!
In my opinion I think it's interesting that this happens but only if this event occurs inside the walls of the funeral home, already if this happens to the outside then it would be interesting to analyze the situation, hardly anyone will have time to take a walk around the outside of the funeral home, besides the event does not have enough light to see the secrecy.
That demon is really terrible and well focused on harming us! lol

This is apparently still an issue. It has happened to me twice this week. Same scenario, in the hallway, a little closer to the office. I looked inside and outside, but could not find the sigil.

Sigil reveals are based on proximity so you could potentially reveal a sigil in the bathroom next to you. There is also a place on the step outside the main entrance of the mortuary. However, I will walk through and make sure I can reveal sigils correctly.

This, because its happened to me many times. I'd burn a strip in the hallway leading out into the main office only to have the sigil pop up on the bathroom mirror.
