Halloween Decorations?

Is the decoration / event stuff suppose to be random? i continued on my shift (11) and started a new shift. but neither had any halloween content. or is it not active yet?

And yes, in game settings its enabled.

It only shows up during October. So 1st through the 31st

just played, 1 October, aside from spooky laugh added at the door, saw no Halloween content (the poster?). so far no costumed either, but just one play. It just seemed there was more from the screenshots.

You're not seeing any of the wall decorations, pumpkins, orange streamers, etc.? There is a special body too but it's only a % chance to get it.

Anyone who works at a mortuary probably knows the importance of wearing latex gloves before touch and handling bodies! Our lovely protagonist doesn't care to wear them!

I've posted this on another thread, in hopes it may help sort it out or at least provide some information to help diagnose it, should this occur:

For missing seasonal content, I would try and go through this list to identify something:

1. If you continue an existing shift, it may not be activated, try New Shift instead.
2. Make sure in the game options that Seasonal Content is enabled, then try New Shift again.
3. Make sure your computer's system clock has the right date/time; it needs to be October. Restart the game if you're still in it and use New Shift again.
4. Check/find your 'level4' file and make sure (for update .51) it is showing 3150456 bytes in size **
5. Relaunch the game, do a New Shift, walk into the mortuary reception lobby, then quit the game. Now find your Player.log file *** and zip it up and provide it to DreadXP on their discord server in the #mortuary-bugs-and-feedback channel, and state the issue you are having and what you have tried (e.g. above). The link to their discord server is in the patch/update notes here on Steam.

** level4 file - note you may have installed the game to a different location depending on where your steam library is kept:

This file is only created for the most recent patch updates of the game, it may not get updated or used in later patches. You can find it at the same place as your save game files, in the folder

%userprofile%\appdata\locallow\darkstone digital\the mortuary assistant

- you can copy/paste this path including the % symbols into a Windows Explorer address bar to get to the folder.

Also do you hear the spooky laugh as you pass through the mortuary's front doors? That is playing currently even when the seasonal content is switched off, so if you don't hear that either then something seems up with your files (try using the steam option to verify file cache).

Its 1st November and I wanted to give the Halloween content a try, why only make it Available through Oct? - Needs to be a longer availability.

Really bummed we missed the Oct content. Is there any way to play it somehow after October 2023?
